Jongma Development is the controller for the data that reaches us through this site. Through the request form on this site: your name, your telephone number, where you fill them in your email address, the postcode and house number of the roof in question, the kind of work you are looking for, and the description you write yourself.

By telephone: your telephone number and what you tell us about your roof, your consumption and your installation.

The site also records that the call button was used, together with the page it happened on. No name and no number is attached to that; it is a count, not a profile.

To contact you about your request, to schedule the survey on the roof, to produce the calculation and the quote, and to invoice once the work is done. We do not use your data for advertising and we do not sell it on.

The legal basis is performance of the contract or, where a request is not yet an instruction, the steps taken at your request before entering into one.

We ask for a postcode and house number because the yield of a roof cannot be calculated without an address: pitch, orientation and shading differ per building, and the permit condition set by the Haarlemmermeer municipality does not apply the same way everywhere in it. Without an address we can only quote a national average, which is precisely the number this site exists to improve on.

We use the address to look up public records about the building, such as year of construction and roof shape from the Dutch buildings register (Basisregistratie Adressen en Gebouwen). We share your address with nobody for that purpose.

A request that does not lead to an instruction is kept for six months. Data belonging to work we carried out is kept for seven years, because Dutch tax law requires that of the records.

With the parties needed to do the work and keep the records: the host of this site, the telephone provider, and the bookkeeping. If the work goes ahead, the installer carrying it out receives your address and telephone number, because otherwise they arrive at the wrong door.

Beyond those parties we share nothing, unless a legal obligation requires it.

This site sets no advertising cookies and runs no tracker in the first render. The calculator computes in your own browser; what you enter there is not sent anywhere unless you submit the form.

You may ask which data we hold about you, have it corrected, have it erased, or have its use restricted. You may also object. Send a request to the email address at the bottom of this page; you will have an answer within four weeks.

If we cannot resolve it together, you can complain to the Dutch data protection authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).

The site runs on https, a request is sent encrypted, and access to the data is limited to those who need it for the work.
